What is Section 158BC?

Section 158BC of the Income Tax Act deals with the filing of returns in case of search and seizure cases. When the Income Tax Department conducts a search under Section 132 or requisition under Section 132A, they may issue a notice under Section 158BC, requiring you to file a return for the specified block period.

Form ITR-B – Now Easier to File

Previously, filing ITR-B in response to a Section 158BC notice required more manual effort. Now, with the e-Proceeding feature, you can:
